Kvasir had many fathers and mothers, as he was created out of the combined spit of the Aesir and Vanir gods to seal the peace between the two families.
He was the wisest of all. He would resolve conflicts in Asgard and Midgard alike.
Kvasir would not see Ragnarok as he was destined to die long before it would even start. He was killed by the dwarfs Fjalar and Galar, who used his blood to brew the Mead of Poetry.
