Eirene

Eirene is the Greek goddess of peace and was widely revered by the city of Athens. She is the daughter of Zeus and Themis. In a literal sense, that means she is the daughter of Zeus and “the order of things” and justice.

Her symbolism includes the olive branch and a blunt spear, which she used for self-defense. The Romans revered her as Pax, matron to the Pax Romana principle that was issued to stop civil wars and other internal turmoil within the empire.
